Window Treatments
Blinds or Window Tints? This is a common question many homeowners & locations face when they are in need of window treatments. You may need to eliminate heat from certain areas, reduce sunlight, add privacy, or just decorate the place. Blinds can provide full privacy at your control, but will eliminate your view at times and can require continual cleaning maintenance. Window Tinting on the other hand requires less maintenance, will create a more open and natural environment, it can provide the privacy you need throughout the day while still allowing you to have a visual to the other side of the window.
There are films that block a high amount of heat without reducing clarity that can bring comfort to a dining room, office waiting area or a city view at a high level floor and still keep its original state. Decorative films like frosted films are used in banks, cubicle office spaces, or bathrooms in hotels, etc. Window Tint for glasses will add more protection than any blind and will preserve furniture, belongings, expensive tile/wooden floors from fading due to harmful UV rays.
The cost to both methods has a large gap. Window tint for your windows is a more affordable method of protecting your home or business and can give you various options to achieve the result you’re trying to obtain. Blinds require a longer install time and materials are of more cost therefore resulting in a more expensive investment. Window tint will reduce light bills by allowing your A/C to work more efficiently allowing any room space to cool down at a faster rate and allowing the space to remain at that temperature. This type of treatment is not a permanent one and can be taken off when it's no longer needed.
